These fire steels from Strike Fire really are an essential piece of kit when your off on your bushcraft exploits. 

Once the black safety covering has been scraped off all you have to do is scrape the striker down the steel at approximately a 45 degree angle and you will be provided with a shower of sparks coming off at about 3000 degrees.

Each striker lasts approximately 3,000 strikes and can be used to ignite natural tinders as well as camping stoves, cotton wool and even alcohol hand gel!
